#116 Two Witnesses, Genesis 3, Fall of Adam & Eve 🍏🐍

Our Bible study continues with MrE of Genesis 3, discussing the story of Adam and Eve with Satan in the Garden of Eden.

Satan seduced Eve through his lies that if she ate from the forbidden tree of knowing good and evil, she would surely not die. Eve contemplated that the fruit was good to eat, pleasing to the eyes, and would make her wise. She disobeyed God, knowing his first commandment that if you eat from this tree, you will die. Then she gave Adam the fruit, and he ate it. While Eve was deceived, Adam was not. He followed Eve in sin, knowing God's command not to eat it.

Humanity has continued chasing Satan’s lies to become like God. Taylor Swift is a modern-day Eve in the Garden. Her concerts, along with other pop stars, are a worship service to Satan, just like Saints worshiping God in church. The World promotes the symbolism in Genesis 3 and actively partakes in the covenant with Satan.

But God reminded Adam what he was; born from the dust of the ground, and as dust, he shall return. Sadly today, all men and women repeat the fall to represent the modern Adam and Eve, as shown in the Apple Bite vodka commercial.

Adam and Eve's sin was not without consequences. God cursed humanity and the earth, so we must toil for everything in life. While God protects us from our reality and Satan, the curse of death still exists. We all will die in our natural lifespan. In Adam and Eve’s time, they lived almost a thousand years. Our lifespan continued to get shorter and shorter to now be limited up to 120 years. However, God still gives us a way out of this sin and death that is cursed upon all life. God's redemption plan for humanity began with the story of Adam and Eve. Genesis 3:15 ESV states:

I will put enmity between you and the woman
 and between your offspring and her offspring;
 he shall bruise your head,
 and you shall bruise his heel.

Jesus will crush Satan’s head, while Satan bruises the heel of Jesus, i.e., his death at the cross. Satan, now crawling on the ground as a serpent, eating dust all the days of his life. He can only attack the heel of humanity while risking his head being crushed, a poetic ending to evil and Satan in the book of Revelation. Thus, our story is revealed from Genesis to Revelation, and God's plan for redemption is to be restored to Him as it was in the Garden.

All humanity died the day Adam And Eve sinned, and we can only be reborn through Christ to enter the Garden of Eden, becoming immortal with everlasting life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV.

Choose whom you will serve, God or Satan.
