In this story, all the nations of the earth came together to build their brick tower to the heavens. Nimrod, a mighty hunter and king over these nations sought to create his one-world utopia and temple for himself as a demigod. He sought to unite all people under one language and one rule.
They said to each other, 'Let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.' And they had brick for stone and tar for mortar. Then they said, 'Come, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top will reach to heaven, and let us make a name for ourselves; otherwise, we will be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.' Genesis 11:3-4 MEV.
From this passage, we know Satan's goal is always to unite all people and bring them into submission in tightly controlled environments, i.e., towers and cities. More importantly, Satan seeks to make a name for himself and doesn't want people to be scattered all over the face of the earth. God's first few commandments were to be fruitful, multiply, and take dominion over the whole earth. Can you see Satan's vision now to bring all people under its authority and rule all under condensed spaces?
Fifteen-minute cities are being implemented right now. Providing most goods and services within walking distance seems like a good idea.
Don't be deceived. This goes back to the original Nimrod's efforts to build his Tower of Babel. Once people have bought into this deception, they will have caged themselves into these new smart cities.
The smart cities will link all things to the Internet of Things to eventually force the mark of the beast upon people, where no man can buy and sell without taking the mark. Thus, controlling and herding the population in these cities will be extremely easy. The people are already being prepared for the Smart Mark.
Lockdown measures will prevent people from traveling freely from neighborhood to neighborhood, much like in gated developments. One must show IDs or request permits to travel beyond their designated locations. If people don't value their God-given freedoms now, they will succumb to Satan's agenda and take the mark of the beast when it's time. Resist this evil when local governments began implementing the new Tower of Babel.

God came down to earth to stop Nimrod and his Tower from being completed. He scattered all the people and confused their languages so they wouldn't accomplish whatever they had decided to do.
The Lord said, 'The people are one, and they have one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do; now nothing that they propose to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down, and there confuse their language so that they may not understand one another’s speech.' So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they stopped building the city. Genesis 11:6-8 MEV.
God wasn't worried about Nimrod and the people reaching the heavens to kill God. He destroyed the Tower to protect the people from themselves in attempting to come together to open a Pandora's Box, as it has already been opened today with genetic engineering and other technologies to redesign humanity into Satan's image.
Through Shem's descendants, Abram was born. God called Abram to Himself because of his faith in God.
Now the Lord said to Abram, 'Go from your country, your family, and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. I will make of you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless them who bless you and curse him who curses you, and in you all families of the earth will be blessed.' So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. Genesis 12:1-4 MEV.
God told Abram to leave his family to go where God led him. A promise to bless Abram and his descendants to where no man can number them is yet to be fulfilled—a righteous nation with his righteous people to be a blessing to all.
While Satan seeks to reduce and condense all populations, God continues to deliver and enlarge their environment and dwellings. In God's new heaven and earth, He could easily expand the earth to house all inhabitants. He is not worried about overpopulation or lack of resources and space.
Mark also made a valuable connection that the Sons of God, i.e., fallen angels, rule all nations. He showed a chart of all nations' eagle symbols with wings representing fallen angels. We will continue to discuss this in our next podcast with Abram's and Lot's stories.
